CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Henri had achieved miracles with the three hours that Leonora had granted him. She took a number of well earned breaks along the way. Whilst she stretched, she said to the painter, “It's not easy to look alluring when one's muscles are seizing up. Cramp and elegance do not go well together.”

The Frenchman praised the beautiful model for her endurance, thanks to her, he had created a true masterpiece. It was one of his better creations, if not his best. He was certain that Emily would love it.

Leonora was about to button up her blouse when Henri said, “There's no need to rush, perhaps you and I could finish this perfect day with a little something. Staring at your delicious body for hours does something to a virile man.”

She brushed her hand softly through her hair and replied, “Mmm, a virile man eh? I have a workable solution for that.” She laced up her leather footwear and said, “Imagine a sudden kick from these pointed boots, straight into your delicate areas.” With a warm smile, she asked, “Would that cure your virility?”

Reaching for her hat and coat, she continued, “Be happy with what you've achieved Monsieur Capelle. You have done yourself proud.” She stood up and said, “Goodbye my little Frenchman.” With those wise words, she walked out of the front door and stepped out onto the busy street.

Henri gazed at his painting. Yes, he had every reason to be proud. It certainly was a masterpiece.
